You can jump the lockout switches on the bed...

You can jump the lockout switches on the bed mechanism. Then you can use with only one slide open. Also handy when planning a quick nap, only need the bed slide open.

For the Journey, I believe it is the 2013, 2014 and early 2015 models that use Schwintek slide mechanism on some of the slides in different models. They are pretty easy to see the telltale rails...
