There was a recall on some hoses back in 2002. Got mine replaced for free. Call HWH and ask em about it. There is a number on the recalled hoses but I can't remember what it was.

Try cleaning your battery connections. Good battery readings do not translate to max power to the pump. Measure the voltage at the pump while somebody pushes the the switch. Good Luck
