Is there any oil moisture in your exhaust pipe?? If so could be another sign it could be the turbo. If be chance it's a turbo it is not a good idea to run the motor.

Not much power and blowing smoke

If it is a diesel could be the turbo. Check your oil. If it is a turbo it can pump the oil out of the crankcase thru the turbo. ??
