03 Corvette: What color and style is your 'Vette? Mine is an '00 Magnetic Red coupe? Love those 'Vettes!

Sad about diesel prices...for us, anyway. We sold our last (second) diesel-engined vehicle the week before diesel prices dropped lower than those of regular gas. Prior to that, diesel ran higher than premium gasoline. Of course we replaced the two diesel-powered vehicles with gasoline-powered ones! Go figure...

Yes, we 'Vette owners, especially those of us with Magnetic Red 'Vettes, are a Special Lot! BTW, the new "Magnetic Red," named Crystal Red is not the same gorgeous "Candy Apple" red that our Magnetic Red is. Our car-painter friend says the metal flakes and multiple layers to produce the Magnetic Red are no longer affordable by GM. Hence, the lack of depth in the new Crystal Red.

How's this for getting off the subject of the original thread??

Maybe Winne could entice more baby-boomers,or us "war babies," via using such color as Candy Apple Red, Midnight Blue, etc. on their RV's!

My wife had a 1995 For Probe GT that was Electric Metallic Blue...never saw another one like it. The next year the blue was not the same. When it was waxed, it had a lot of depth to the color and was really striking. We had a hit and run in a parking lot and had the right front fender repainted and it never did match right in the light. It was the same color, but not the depth.

I'd love to see a candy apple red motorhome...wooooooo hooooooo.

Was she pretty the rest of the times? And still as kissable?

Does anyone know why Costco no longer carries Hershey's Kissables?

Please folks lets try to get back to the main subject. Yesterday I jacked my motorcycle up real high so that I could work on it. The darn thing almost fell off and hurt me.

Am I the only one who thinks the ladders on the rear of motor homes is "but ugly"? They spoil the whole rear look of an otherwise nice looking paint job and look. Why can't they enclose them so they don't show by making a recessed compartment for the ladder with a fiberglass door that would run from bottom to top. The door would be flush with the stern of the motor home when closed. Would never know it is there. What do you think?

I got one of those 5' folding ladders from camping world to put on my front solar screen. Wish I got the 6' ladder.
