Streaking Odometer Display - 2005 Sightseer

I have a 2005 Winnebago Sightseer 34A with a streaking odometer display. The display has vertical white lines in the blue display making the content difficult to read. Have any of you experienced this? If so, is there a fix?

What chassis do you have? There are several posts about problems with the Actia unit mounted on the workhorse chassis.

It's the Workhorse chassis. Hmmmm ... I searched first and couldn't find anything. I'll try again using the Actia designation.

There are a number of companies that will replace the display. Found a good one on ebay.

Thanks so much for all the great tips and links to repair the Actia instrument panel. I will likely try a re-solder first, and then if that doesn't improve it, I guess it's off to a new panel. Best regards, Dennis - WU6X

The problem is that the "glue" used by Actia to laminate the LCD together has failed. I doubt you will find anything to be "re-soldered". This is a well known and very common problem and I believe the repair involves replacing the LCD portion of the cluster, not the entire "panel".

Dang! Well, I guess my handy electronics skills won't help in this instance. I'm going to call the dealer I bought the coach from (just 3 weeks ago) and see if he has an inside track for a replacement. Thanks again for all that commented and helped on this.

Final ... I had my module repaired by Module Masters. Excellent turnaround and the panel now works better than new.
