Difference between same year Adventurer and Brave

Other than interior trim levels, what are the big differences between an Adventurer and a Brave? Do they use same exterior compartment doors, etc.

There can be some significant differences depending on the year and models you're looking at. You can download the brochures for all the model years since 1969.

Previous Model Year Product Information

Some of the late 1990's Adventurers could be either gas or diesel powered. All the braves were gas powered. The last Braves were built in 2004 while the Adventurer is still in production

There's are several pages in each brochure that list the standard and optional features. They include everything from the chassis available to the types of sinks in the bathroom. The Adventurer has a number of standard features that are either optional or not available on the Brave.

Be sure to look at the specifications closely. There are several types of water heaters, ranges, refrigerators, furnaces, etc. While they both will have a water heater the differences may be gas only as opposed to gas/electric, and a pilot light as opposed to electronic ignition.

Thanks for that info. Have looked at that many times, but still doesn't answer whether or not they have the same quality compartment door, etc. Do they use better door hinges, lifts, etc.on the Adventurer?

From what I know when I had my Adventurer, it was a better class/model than the Brave. Many upgraded features.

I would expect things like hinges, lifts and such are pretty much the same. Interior adds or trim will have some differences but I have known people who owned both and could see little difference.

Thanks, that's what I would expect. Just had someone tell me compartment doors, etc. weren't as good on a Brave.

When we were shopping for our Brave in 2003, we looked at the Adventurer as well. There were more features and the decor was definitely upgraded. However, the cabinet doors, drawers and utility fixtures under the MH looked to be the exact same build so we went with the Brave.
