Yes I have a RED face.
I picked up my new 2016 40R Friday and drove it back to Texas.
Yes I did the delivery inspection...and figured everything out on the drive back to Texas.
Except....I don't know how or where to turn on water pump or hot water heater.
There is a pad beside half bath that tell me status when I push the button. Says off. I pushed the button that says water pump in half bath...nothing. Is there a master switch or what? And what about hot water heater...it's the normal type not on demand.
Thanks

Ok, I figured out the hot water heater.
Still can't get the water pump to work so I'll be a camper world AM.
Several of the LED lights are not working and I understand it's a large industry problem as supplier changed soder and it melts outs.
Minor problems, just takes lots time to correct.

There is a good chance that your water pump switch is in your wet bay.

For us there is a switch in the bathroom and one in the wet bay for the water pump. Congrats on your new mh.

Are you sure you have water in your tank to pump out???? Pump may be running and you can't hear it.

99.99999999999% of the coaches out there, will have the primary water pump switch INSIDE the coach and possibly, if the manufacturer added one, in the wet bay. After all, one wouldn't want to get ready for a shower, at 10:00 at night, turn on the water in the shower to warm it up only to find that the water pump switch was never turned on and, have to get dressed, go outside the coach, in the rain, and find and turn on, the water pump. So yes, there is a water pump switch inside that coach, someplace.
But, whether power is getting to it or, a fuse is blown, or, there's no water and the pump is not running due to that or, it's actually running but, there's no water in the tank for it to pickup and the OP simply can't hear it. Lots of possibilities here.

Our Winnie uses a multiplex type system to turn on the pump, which is a relay that comes on or off from multiple locations that have momentary switches. I can turn the pump on or off from either bathroom, or the wet bay.
I believe your 2016 Winnie even uses the much newer full multiplex switch system (push button pads instead of switches).
Other than all the other good suggestions, it might be the relay that actually sends power to the pump. I believe mine is located in the 12V breaker panel outside.

Yes it's n the same touch pad as the water heater. I can turn the water heater on and off and either gas or electric but the water pump button when pushed just says off and no other option showing. May have a bad pad.

On our rig, the water pump switch is on the same panel as the water heater. The water pump switch is a rocker switch and lights up green when on. The pump works by sensing the water pressure in the line. When a faucet is open you can hear the pump start....that is, if you are running off the water tank and not city water. You probably know you don't need the pump while hooked to city water. The switches by the way are located on the information center panel where you would check the tank and battery levels.
Just thinking, none of these will work if I haven't flipped the house power switch on (located at the door step well).
Hope you find the issue and it is a simple one. We love our Winnie!!

Chapter 7 of the 2016 Journey Operator Manual describes the pump operation.
