Nice Try Winnebago...

2004 Adventurer 33v. Driver's Map Light. Co-Pilot's Map Light has it's own switch. Of course it does! Driver's side Map Light? Of course not! You use the dashboard light switch, roll it up all the way, to turn on the Driver's Map Light.

Nice try Winnebago...

Of course, automobile dome lights have worked by that exact same method for decades. So, it’s not totally random.

Ours have individual switches on the lights themselves. So, we keep them on with their dashboard and headlight switches and turn them on and off individually with the rocker switch on the light base.

1. It's not a dome light, it's a map light.
2. The co-pilot's map light has it's own switch.
3. How much did Winnebago pay you to apologize?

I was just saying that it’s not unheard of. Regardless of what you think.

Your offensive “schill” comment was totally uncalled for.

Glad to hear they eventually got it correct.

This is at least the second thread you've titled "Nice Try Winnebago". It's obvious you are new to RVing and don't understand how many of the systems operate. Maybe it's time you took out the manuals and read through them. So far the items you've had trouble with are explained in detail in either the generic owners manual or the Supplemental Manual for the items specifically installed on your coach.

Every manufacturer uses similar components whether they're built in house or come from vendors. Similar is the key word. While they may all perform the same functions they are not all operated in the same way.

The controls on our 2004 Jeep Wrangler operate differently than those on our Winnebago Adventurer. That doesn't mean one or the other is incorrect. It simply means they are different.
