Coach Heater Search

I have a 1997 Suncruiser 34RQ. Last time out I had a severe coolant leak that showed itself behind the rear dualies. To continue on the trip, I did a temporary bypass at the engine to take the rear heater core out of the loop. How do I find that rear heater core? Thanks!

Not famliar with your model but maybe someone here is.....
Is there a particular vent area in the rear where the heat from this heater comes out? That's where I would look...probably under a cabinet on the floor..

Thanks for your responses. Haven't found any definitive info on the location of this sucker though! Guess I'll have to start pulling things apart!

With my 98 chieftain with 460 v8 - I disconnected rear heater coolant supply from the engine under the dog house. We don't venture out when it's cold and didn't want to take chance it leaked when on the road.

Page 68 of the Parts Catalog for your coach shows the component parts of the rear heater system. Unfortunately, it doesn't show the actually location of the heater core, but as someone previously stated it must be in the vicinity of heat vents in the bedroom.

I used to own a 1997 Itasca Suncruiser. The rear heater core and fan was located under the bed. Lift up the hinged bed platform and hopefully yours is under there.

That's where it was on my 94 Vectra.
