John, i’m going to have it fixed in March by the dealer. I have an appointment already for annual maintenance and and warranty issues that crop up between now and then. My 26HE was dent free when I sold it after 5 years, and i’d Like to keep this one dent-free too!

I am in the process of getting hail damaged compartment doors replaced. Four doors with a total length of over 20 ft. Three of the doors are one solid color and one has three colors. New doors are coming unpainted from the factory and a new bathroom vent fan is included.
Total price is $8500 paid for by my insurance with no deductible. Work is being done by an RV shop that specializes in RV body repair/rebuild and RV interior design/remodel. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will turn out OK. Hope this gives you an idea of the kind of costs involved at least for this particular situation.

Since you have proof that the dent was there at the time of delivery, I'd let the dealer/Winnebago take care of it.

With Regard to La Mesa. Document Everything - keep a folder, or three ring binder. Mine filled up pretty fast after a year; and report and complain about everything your first year. This way you have a good record. My list is huge of all the things that went wrong with our BRAND NEW COACH! A quarter of it, and I am sorry to say were screw ups with La Mesa. I am a good record keeper but let a lot of things go until finally others said "hey, that's like your house, you deserve to have it fixed new" We had a warp in our cargo door, I had to complain about it a few times but they finally agreed to fix it. Document everything, notes, pictures and Dates.

Good luck with that. Were you in the couch when the hail came down? We dodged a big storm up in Minnesota near Duluth. My weather alert alarm went off alerting us to the hail storm coming; the size of two inch hail reported. We got lucky - but, a storm could literally happen to any of us during our travels.

The coach was in a storage facility about 4 mi from our place. It had been in our driveway just the week before, wish I'd left it there. I didn't discover the damage until a couple of weeks later. Nearby residents had reported about 2" size hail that was in a narrow band. We had none at our house.
Nothing else was damaged but the compartment doors on one side. Except I did loose one weep hole cover due to a direct hit and the bathroom powered vent lid. The hail left marks on my dirty roof but no damage at all.
