The slide instructions for our HWH slide system says they must be put all the way in or out and not go only part way. But you can stop and start them in between, you just need to complete cycle once...

Not many states have Lemon Laws that cover RV's, and then its usually only for the chassis for safety problems. And a stuck slide, while inconvenient, isn't a safety issue. Now, if the slide went out...
