ZF makes some really nice stuff. Their involvement gives me much more confidence. I’m really enjoying their 8-speed auto with built-in electric motor/generator.

Powered trailer axles... probably doable but just give me visions of the tail wagging the dog. The level of engineering would need to improve by an order of magnitude before I’d trust the towables...
