Back flow regulator and faucet connections

Did some more work looking for possible obstructions. Notice a back flow regulator looking device located where hose connects to faucet. The back flow device has a very small diameter connection....

Shower water pressure

I have very little water pressure coming from my shower. I even removed low flow restricter and there was no difference. I have a pressure regulator set at 45# at city water inlet. Shouldn’t I get...
