bonfield, I assume the pink and black wires are the wires you see coming out of the awning motor which is the pigtail that comes with the motor and connects to the Winnebago wires. As Hikerdogs noted...

Yes, I made a test switch so I could run my awning on our 2003 Journey.
You need a double throw double pole center off switch.
On the awning control box connector:
Pin 1 FFD is Power
Pin 2 FFE...
