The tow driver told you that AAA would have charged you $350 for the 40 mile tow! Not true. AAA RV Plus will tow 100 miles.

I have towing included with my motorhome insurance. I used it once.

If you have towing/road service on your insurance you may want to consider using that rather than purchasing redundant coverage.
