2005 Vectra 36RD (Remove the sheet metal brace over engine)

Hello, I’ve had to work on my RV engine a few times. The Sheet metal piece between the 2 access covers is in the way. Has anyone made that piece removable? I’m thinking I can cut it and weld flanges to bolt it back in.🤷*♂️ Does anyone see a structural issue with it
I’d put a pic but haven’t figured it out yet.😂 |
