New to Winnie, and new to me 08 sightseer.

Hello just this weekend I bought a 2008 sightseer 30b. I have been looking on this forum for month. Also looked at other forums. I was sold on Winnebago after looking for three months. Of the used class a’s and the new cheaper class a’s I decided to get this one. Almost looks like new. Needs a few things, but not much. First thing I looked at was the roof. The seam with the fiberglass and the edge are nonexistent, it’s all loose when you push on the roof it moves away from metal. No seal there that is for sure. Just got on Amazon and ordered the caulk. The paint on the exterior looks like new so all it needs is a good waxing. The roof looks good except for the seam. I guess its a good thing that the roof did not blow off on the way home. The interior does not even look like it’s been lived in. The front radio does not tune. The roof looks good except for the seam. The front radio does not tune. I already ordered the radio with Apple play. The tires are a year old so I guess I’m lucky better. I looked at the oil it looks very clean but I’ll change that when it gets warmer, also change the Generator. I already took down the bedroom tv, and ordered a TV DVD combo. The original owner said that the shocks have never been changed. Ordered new shocks and said what the heck what everyone says I’m here I ordered the steering stabilizer. Probably don’t need it because I drove the three hours home just fine. from what I read it’s good save me if I have a blowout. So my winter project looks like it will be the bedroom TV and mount, install the new radio which looks like fun because the old radio is much larger them the new two din radio. Not sure what to do with the satellite dish on the roof looks like you have to get DIRECTV for that work. Going through the manuals looks like there’s a lot to learn. Even the spare tire in the back does not come with a lug wrench. At least I haven’t found it yet. I wanna thank everyone for their help with my choice.

Welcome Sound like a busy winter doing projects for you. Good luck on them and I am sure you will find more modifications as you go alone. Safe travels.
