New Owner... New to RVing Micro Minnie 2108TB

Hi ~ Thank you for the welcome!!

I am a new owner and fairly new to RVing - 30 years ago, my husband and I used an 8 1/2 ft camper to go to local lakes, but nothing more than that. I recently purchased a 2024 Minnie Winnie 2108TB... not sure what I've got myself into, but I am excited for the future!

My 'maiden' outing was they day I picked it up from the Dealer and on their recommendation stopped in at a nearby Provincial Park Campground to 'try' things out while still close to the dealership... just in case. My sister, who has a little more RVing experience came along for the ride and the support! It was a successful couple of nights, with a minor hiccup the first night, but nothing we weren't able to deal with!!

The plan is to head south this winter in search of new sights, new experiences and a warmer climate. My sister and my GSD will be my travel companions. We will be meeting up with several neighbours who have been SnowBirding for a few years and are my inspiration. We will do some boon-docking along the way.

Welcome to the Winnebago world! Your plans sound fantastic.

One thing I seem to be always telling new owners is to be careful with the description of your RV. Winnebago has all kinds of Minnie, Micro, Winnie, etc names and they can mean entirely different types of RVs.

As you see in the quoted part of your post above, you referred to your Micro Minnie as a "Minnie Winnie". Slip of the keyboard, no doubt, but something to watch out for.

Your Micro Minnie 2108TB is a travel trailer. If Winnebago made a "2024 Minnie Winnie 2108TB" which they don't, it would be a Class C motorhome.

I bring this up not to criticize nor nag you but just to reminde a new owner about the importance of getting the name of your rig correct.

Enjoy your new travel trailer!

Welcome. Looking to buy the exact same travel trailer myself and I occasionally call it a Minnie Winnie myslf too, so I wouldnt woory to much about that, so long as you have the 2108tb right.
