sliding window channel damage

Other than replacing, has anyone experienced difficulty completely shutting your windows because the damage is damaged (warped) in spots and found a way to fix it? We've got a 2008 Sightseer that has several window channels damaged before we bought it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
