I did but you don't reach the inside gib from the front side. If you notice he says to repeat on the inside. Worked for me.

I have tried to figure out a way to lubricate the coupler and gib on the inside by the half bath. No way to reach this area. Well I used heat shrink to connect 36 “ of the red aerosol can spray...
