Is there a battery voltage gauge in the coach, so you can see if it's draining when you shut it off periodically? I would think there would be so you can turn on the generator.

So turn off the Aux Battery switch, which disconnects the 2 house batteries, and disconnect JUST the negative terminal on the car battery to eliminate the micro drainage to stuff like the stairs....
