You don't have to access the tank itself and connect a new hose into it, just a 'T' into the line coming out of the tank and going to the pump.

Take an old male end of a garden hose and cut off...

Take an old male end of a garden hose and cut off the last 18" of hose, leaving the fitting on the hose. Jam a funnel in the hose end, screw the hose into your fill port on the RV. Hold it up above...
