Subject: XSG3NA-MB9 SD Card Socket


My vehicle's RAND SD card will not stay seated in the spring loaded SD Card Slot. I have examined the socket from the outside and inside using a led spot light. There is nothing stuck in the slot opening or around the opening. The navigation firmware can read the card if I hold it in the slot, but if released generates an error message.

Is there a part number or recommend replacement for this SD socket. It appears to be an independent part of the radio GPS system.


Any ideas, recommendations, or contacts to help with this subject, will be greatly appreciated.

I had the same issue in our 2018V24D. Card just did not want to stay in. I finally found that if I pushed it slightly to the left while inserting it that it locked into place. That has been repeated several times and works as I remove the card for updates and then re-insert.
