Ok, just talking a bit can sometimes get the attention needed!
We'll hope a closer look at the real RV tells you something.
In the meantime and looking at the drawings as the next best, I see only that they show wiring going into the wall down low??? Not a lot of help and I've not looked at the nicely covered awning you have. Those I HAVE looked at, often had the wires running up the channel attached to the body and they did often look like they were prone to getting mashed or cut!
Just as a cynical guess and might hope I was wrong? I'm guessing the wires enter down low like the drawing shows and then on the outside are inside the channel to run up to the top. I'm guessing that would make it easier to get the RV about finished with the wires sticking out down low and then add them to the awning as it is installed!
Thinking it easier than adding the wires inside the wall where it is pretty much solid foamboard??
Anybody know of an easy way to get the top cover popped off the channel to access any wires inside? Maybe sort out who makes the awning and give them a call would be worth a shot? No chance you have a small booklet in the info bag?
Pure guessing and no experience to back it if somebody knows different, speak up, please?
On picture posting that comes out sideways, I'm better at guessing as it happens often. Probably took the pictures with a cell phone, turned it sideways to better fit the parts you wanted to show?
The picture comes out with info that tells which side is up but on forums, etc, that doesn't work to tell all the gizmos which way is up!!
Very smart computers except they will only do it their way! Dumb as a box of rocks if we don't do it their way!
