I have a 2021 Minnie TT 2529RG. A couple months ago, after driving through heavy rain near Little Rock, we got to our overnight destination to find a lot of water in our camper. Long story short, insurance initially rejected our claim stating we hadn't done maintenance on seals or something (didn't make sense since the seals that were cracked were not exposed while driving). Took it to our repair shop and they identified the source of the water being the fact that our slideout had shifted well forward of our brackets leaving slideout seals ineffective in the rainy conditions. A couple of questions:
1. Anyone ever hear of a slidout shifting forward of its brackets?
2. What causes such a thing to happen? (we hit some really bad, bone-jarring interstates traversing through the south-central USA in January and February)
3. Is there some kind of Winnebago-recommended maintenance to prevent this from happening? (I don't recall ever hearing about maintenance to prevent the slideout from shifting off its brackets.)
Thanks for the help. Trying to build my case to fight insurance...
