The original question asked whether other RVers had completed the Winnebago front turn signal recall. Members reported mixed status: one had the lights replaced within about a week after the dealer ordered parts, another had a 2014 model at Camping World for replacement, and another was scheduled at General RV after an earlier evaluation so parts could be ordered.

One member with a 2015 35F Vista said Winnebago reviewed a requested front photo and replied that no modification was needed...

I have had my replaced last week. The dealer ordered the lights and installed within 1 week. Work ok

This has to be the most vague post/thread ever. No model, no year, just a very vague question. How many people do you think even have a clue what you are talking about?
Here's a thread on the Recall from last year:

As requested by the recall notice, I sent in a photo of the front of my 2015 35F Vista. Winnebago replied stating that after reviewing the photo, my vehicle did not require a modification. It's hard for me to complain that I don't have to take it in for recall work.

I'm scheduled early morning of June 3rd at General RV to have them installed. The good news is it will be done while I wait, about an hour'ish, so no long drawn out service incident. I did have to go in for an "evaluation" a month prior so parts could be ordered. I offered to do the work myself if they would send the parts, but was refused which is understandable under the circumstances.

I just received my recall notice. The change in lens size seems pretty insignificant. It does not seem like much of a safety issue and I don't really want to go through the drama of finding a dealer out here and having the recall performed.
Does anyone know if not doing the recall would get in the way of selling the coach?
Here is a pic of the change in lens size for anyone interested:

got that recall too does seem very slightly larger and the opening is npot very large need to ge t it done but camping world os slow to complete the recall

:cool:Also a second recall is out for the Hood cover the Afhesive may fail and the cover / hood may fail and fall into traffic due to bad adhesion attachem:)nt That one has my attention !

I got the hood bracket letter last week so they "assessed" the work while doing the turn signals. I have an appointment in July to have it done. Thankfully General RV completed the turn signals while I waited and are going to do the brackets the same way.

I already re-glued one of the brackets the correct way according to tech support at 3M. The problem is Winnebago was using auto body panel adhesive on painted metal parts. 3M tech support told me what adhesive they are using and that it will only stick to bare metal. It will also stick to itself so don't try and remove what was glued to the fiberglass. I flapper wheeled the paint off the bracket, trimmed the edges of the “glue nubs” on the front cap to use as locators, and re-glued. The adhesive and applicator gun is available on Amazon. Five years and still holding strong.
Link to the adhesive:

Many of us used 3M VHB tape and then drilled the brackets and installed stainless steel bolts / washers / nuts. Not impressed that new adhesive alone will last.

The dealer has my parts ordered... maybe, there were a couple of discrepancies when they plugged my VIN into the Winnebago Dealer Portal. I hope to hear something in the not too distant future. I was planning on replacing my turn signals this year, Thanks to Winneabo I saved some money. ;)
