Why does my fresh water holding tank slowly fill up when connected to city water? It eventually gets to the point where it overflows, which is how I discovered the issue.
Any suggestions on how to fix? Thanks!

Common issue on all RVs. There is a check valve built into your Water pump to prevent city water from backfilling the fresh tank. But even a speck of dirt can get in there and let water backfill the tank.

Easiest thing to do is turn off city water and live off the fresh tank till empty. Many times this will clean out the check valve.

Sometimes you might have to do that a couple of times.

The valve is easy to clean manually or even rebuild. Parts are on Amazon and videos on YouTube will show how.

That is usually all it takes to fix the issue.

Thanks for your suggestion! We will give it a try. Appreciate your response.

Fully agree with above! But there can be times when the check valve gets aa nick or defect of some sort. check valve make iot sound much more than it really can be as I tend to think of it as a "rubber flap"!
That is when it is good to know there are parts kits that are simple to replace the check valve on the pump. Often the harder part is getting crammed into a compartment to remove the pump???
Different brands are different but this is a common one.
