Gooooood morning to all, i hope the Lord has blessed your morning as He has mine.

I have a question,
There is a receptical like component with a button and a small read out on the ceiling above the cockpit area of our winne. When button is pushed it displays LO or 07, probably 07. We have owned winne for about 8 months and this is about the last thing I have discovered that I don't know what it is. Till the next thing anyway :). 2000 winnebago journey 34B

Ok here is another question. How bout member profiles. I was told I could put our profile / rig so I did not have to put it in every post. I may have, but I can't find it, or anyone else's. I'd like to know a little about you all. If I can see your profile, how?? Thanks.
Ok hears a laugh on me. I type so slow on my phone the system logs me out before I post it. So I have learned to copy before I post, to find out im loged out and post is gone. Lol. Go ahead

Winegard Sateliite antenna elevation display?

I see you have a Journey 34B, so you have made you profile correctly, at least as far as I can see.

Profile may not be the best place, though!
If you write a post AND remember to enter the RV info each time, it is a bit of wasted effort and often forgotten!
So when we read a post and it forgets to tell us which RV, we either have to go look at your profile or ask! That is wasted effort and I begin to skip over those posts!

IF you enter the RV info on your Signature line, it will be there every post, even if your brain fails you that day! :D

What many fail to admit is that forums are not slot machines! Some want to throw in a bit of meaningless gibberish and expect the readers to dig out the good stuff so the poster gets what they want without any effort!

Life tends to teach us that we get more out if we put more in!

One way to make sure that info is there on every post is to put it in your signature and then it is automatic without effort! :flowers:

Go to "user CP' at far left of orange line!
Scroll down to "edit signature" and enter as much or little as you feel needed to make it easy for the folks who might respond if you make it easy for them!

See the stuff at the bottom of my post? I used to suggest this idea to folks and then get "corrected" since I had no info on my RV!
We live in a time when it is so much more fun to point out failures and not bother to try to improve life in any way!

To get a poster's profile, click on the name at any point in the forum to open a lot of that type info!

For some reason my signature line only appears if I type my posts in on my computer. If I use my Android tablet or phone, it does not appear. Glitch in the matrix I assume.

AARGH! I had not run into that glitch!
When I read society may crash in 2040, I can see the internet/computer world being a big cause of the world losing our mind!

I have spent much of the last 6-8 months learning how to work around the glitches they have built into my computer!
I moved up to a Windows 11 and it has great speed and great memory for fast operation but at the same time they degraded the simple stuff like Paint that I use most of the time.
The machine is super fast but the steps it takes to do simple stuff like draw a line are so clunky that I assume I am meant to buy some type program from them to do the minor stuff!

I did type in our rig in the signature page and it does not show up, I just checked it. It is there but not on my post. Maybe that's why I'm not finding any others profile ??? I guess I need a computer,

This is a planned difference between a desktop browser format and a mobile browser format that sheds items in the layout that take up space.

The software knows if the page is being displayed on a desktop or a mobile device and uses specific style sheets for each.

Here’s a tip… when on a tablet (or a phone) scroll to the absolute bottom of the page and you’ll see a Quick Style Chooser drop down box that will let you choose the page format to display between “Winnebago Forums” and “Mobile” styles.

I see your sig on my desktop computer.
The forum software maximizes use of space, so it displays pictures that consume the least amount of space.
I have found if you take a landscape picture, do so with your right thumb on the shutter button. It doesn't always work though; so I don't fully understand either.

I am going to assume you are using an iPhone for the pictures. If so that is a well-known glitch that has been going with forum software for as long as I can remember. The fix is to save the picture on your computer, change the name then post.
