What Converter/Charger 2023 Micro Minnie 2108FBS

Thanks Bill,

What model of Converter/Inverter is used there, any model numbers on the distribution panel door?

Was the inverter wired to the Converter/Charger to be able to run the microwave and Air Conditioning while boondocking?

Were you given any special instructions as to turning the converter breaker on or off when on shore power vs battery power?

I had the dealer install the inverter and mount batteries, did not want any finger pointing if things went wrong. They did terrible job with blu ox hitch setup, 10” off in height, etc. but wiring worked out well.
Since I don’t have a ATS I just leave the converter/charger circuit breaker on all the time.
When I do use the inverter, I was instructed to turn off the breaker for the converter, else it just makes a loop with inverter and charger, not a good thing.
The inverter at 2K is not large enough for mic or a/c, and WBGO did not prep those 2 circuits for inverter duty.
Not a big deal for me, we usually cook outdoors, and have gas stove, and in northeast can live with fans rather than a/c if I don’t have power. I have the inverter pwr switch in the passthru wall next to the bed so it can all be done inside.
If desperate I can run mic or a/c off my Honda 2200 watt genny, converted to propane makes about 1800-1900 watts, which with soft start from hutch mountain works fine and don’t have to carry gas.
I can also run the a/c or mic off 15a 115vac line cord if needed.
I don’t have model numbers but going out for 2 weeks starting Monday. I measured about 940w peak on converter 79 amps.
Other best upgrades were dimmable interior lights with blue nighttime mode (oem are too bright), Missmin shower balance valve (used half the hw tank just trying to get balance of scalding/freezing set) now can set temp and works great! Was Best Upgrade!
2x hengs ceiling fans, multi-speed dual direction (vents bath shower quickly, one in, one out) furion rear and side cameras as it was prepped for it, but never really use side ones.

Oh, and I also stretched the queen bed to full length with 8” RV mattress and added extra support length under the bed.
Why did you chg from 2016 WBGO trailer? Looks about the same as your new 2108FBS…
Bill

We wanted the dinette for those rainy nights and the dinette is flatter for sleeping when we have the grandchildren. The sofa bed in the 2106 was horrible for sleeping.

Hope the 2023 2108FBS is built as well as the 2017 2106FBS was.

Aahhh, I ditched the swing arm table that came with the sofa and use a fold up lightweight table I found that is the right size, and eat there when raining, we usually cook and eat outside. Never really use the bed part, maybe a couple times to watch tv, but just put a 4K so can see from bed now.
So far so good on build quality. Touched up a couple foamant seal areas and the basement doors needed a bit of sealing, water was getting into the doors.

Hello, not sure if this question has been asked before. I will be picking up my 2023 2108FBS Micro Minnie is a couple weeks.

First upgrade is a 12v 300Ah Lithium Battery to replace the lead acid. I'm having the dealer install the inverter prep wiring (std 2024) to install an inverter. If the price is right I will consider a inverter/charger.

My question here is;

1) What Converter/Charger Model is installed in the 2023 2108FBS

2) What Converter Charger Model is installed in the 2023 2108FLX

3 What Model of Inverter is installed in the 2108 FLX.

4) What Model of Inverter/Charger is installed in the 2108FLX
-Is the Charger in the Converter/Charger disconnected
Hello, I have a 4000w Magnum inverter with 800AH AGM battery pack (8 100AH batteries of 4 x 2-in-series making 24v) and I get 7-8 hours of AC. I bought a dual battery marine charger to charge the pairs independently so I know they are being fully charged each time I need them. This is used only on the chance that I stay at a place that doesn't allow noise from my generator. All this is in a rack in the back of my Ram 1500 Classic. Let me know if you would like some pictures of how I have it all mounted.

Geez Louise! You must be down south in the heat of H-E double-toothpick!
Up in New England we don’t need the A/C but for a few days per year and can’t justify that much battery power, though better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!
Love to have that much power for my 12v fridge though!

Chris, with your FLX, is the 3000 watt inverter wired to your distribution panel to allow you to power your AC and Microwave when off grid.
