JDG; I use Geocel ProflexRV with good results. But I do check all the seams every 6 to 8 month. Good luck!!!

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question but if someone can tell me where to post it I'd appreciate it. I have been looking at a 39 foot winnebago chieftain. I Presently own a 2000 Itasca Suncruiser 32 feet with one slide. We lived in it for two months while in Canada. It feels a little cramped and the p30 chassis has a lot to be desired with the brakes and steering. I have put about $10,000.00 in it since I bought it almost 2 years ago. My wife is tired of throwing money at it. The Winnebago is a 2003 with 19000 miles and a one owner. The W22 chassis handles so much better than the P30. There's no comparrison. And the Allison transmisson handles great. Is 39 feet any harder to manuver than a 32 footer? All opinions wecome.

quadman;

Your post caught my attention as my DW and I own a 2003 Chieftain 39T on a W22. We both love the MH and the Workhorse Chassis. Our first MH was a 34' and we upgraded to a 97 37' Adventure. My DW and I both drive and we made that change effortlessly. In 2005 we traded our Adventure for our current Chieftain. The only change was taking wider turns. We both made that change with out incident. We did make some additions that cost us a few $$$. We put on new shocks as the originals did not met our expectations. We also added front and rear stabilizing bars.

We both feel that this coach may last us until age forces us to give up this life style as we have no desire to buy anything different.

On Tuesday nights at 9 PM EDT we have a Winnebago Chat. You are most welcome to join us if you wish. You should get more feed back there.

A merry Christmas and happy New Year to all the RV friends from the sunshine state

According to the progress report from our dealer, our 2011 View Profile is on the assembly line now. Scheduled to be complete on the 21st, and hope to see it at the end of this month. This will be our 4th, and smallest, motor home.

Well; finally have the brake recall behind me, also never had any problems with them have driven over 1500 miles since and they don`t feel any difference from before so I guess ever thing is okay. Got to Lazy Days just before the vicious storm hit in the area, my appointment was for the next morning and the job was done by mid afternoon with no other problems found.

Hi from a new UK member. :thumb: We've had a Rexhall Rexair over here since 2006, and in January this year, I flew over to Lazydays for a week to purchase a 2000 Adventurer 37G in advance of our year-long road trip of Canada & the US starting in about a month! It has the same running gear as the Rexair (Ford V10) so we're looking forward to good times soon. :clap:

We traded our 2006 Itasca horizon for a new 2011 Itasca 42QD while we were at the Perry fmca rally. We really like it alot
