Hi All, DW and I will be retiring this coming year and are trying to get ahead of all by reading everything you tell us. many thanks to all who post as we really do pay attention and will ask without shame as newbee's

Welcome to the future retire's club. We retired 6 years ago. Time flies. Our last year we lived in our motorhome while we worked to see how it would be. We still have our house, but only use it for storage, laundry, showers, and toilet during the day.

Many of our friends had sold their house, and our now buying a house again. Ours is an old farm house, and we don't pay that much to keep it up and taxes so we always have a place. We are in our drive right now.

I highly recommend it over the alternative. Although the body doesn't want to keep up with my mind. I have replaced teeth, and now cataracts in the last month, one more cataract to go, and then off the AZ. for the winter.

I recently purchased a 2004Brave 34D. I purchased it from Camper World formerly Crystal Valley RV. north of Chicago. I found it online and had extensive conversations with them before my wife and I took the train from Ann Arbor MI. to Chicago. They were kind enough to pick us up at the station and drive us 45mi. to there
beautiful facility.It was inside so we could thoroughly examine it and test everything, We then road tested it and decided to purchase.Everyone treated us very well and it was a pleasure to do business with this fine establishment. They drove us to a local motel and picked us up in the morning. After an extensive orientation all fuels were topped off and we hit the road for the 325mi. ride home. I got us thru to the MI. border and then my wife took over for the remainder of the journey. The coach drove well and the snowstorm that was predicted held off until we arrived home. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase new or used or for service as they have a very large service area that is easily accessible. We have been campers for close to 40 yrs. starting out tenting to popups then to 2 consecutive 5TH Whls. I hope this unit will fulfill our needs for years to come. I anticipate lurking and participating in this forum to gain all the knowledge I can since I'm a hands on type owner/camper. I appreciate all of you providing this special place for Wiinebago owners.

We have recently retired and upgraded to an Itasca Suncruiser 33 MY 2004. Love it and love Rv'ing. Have gone from Florida to Maine so far.

OK, you can finally sign us up. My wife, Helen, and I drove home in our newly purchased 2002 Winnebago Journey. We've been looking for just the right motorhome to move to after selling our 1998 Safari. It has been something of an ordeal, getting what we want at a price I feel is fair, but we finally did it. The drive home was sublime and we can't stop grinning about our new toy, and just in time for Christmas.

I may become a pset asking questions about the new coach, but I'm committed to reading the manuals first.

Paul

Teo;

We have a wealth of experience here and members who are more than willing to help. We also have a Winnebago Chat Room you may want to check out. That is Tuesday nights 9-10 PM EST.
