I wasn't saying to change tire ratings just to increase the load ratings, I'm really saying that everyone should step up to the next rating when replacing tires because from what I have seen is Winnebago Industries puts tires on their rigs that put most people at limits with minimal loads. So if you step up to the next tire rating you are well within safety limits.

I can understand about the weight issues when someone is fulltiming and all the stuff they have and have saved from a stick house.
It must take a lot of stuff to overload a coach for routine use. I have all I need and then some and I don't have a weight issue.

My Moho is rated at 27,910lbs and after having it weighed twice on two different scales it came out to 25,400 both times.
A 2,510 lb cushion. I am greatful for this and that I don't have an issue with the original tires. Good Miles

Are the tires put on by the chassis manufacturer or Winnebago?
Maybe Winnebago specifies the tires when ordering from Freightliner? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Winnie gets the chassis from Freightliner as 'rolling stock' - in fact Winnie workers drive them into the chassis prep building to start the assembly process.

Winnie provided the specifications for the Evolution chassis to Frieghtliner - I have no idea if they did this with the other chassis. I also don't know if the specifications were as granular as specifying a tire brand and tire size though.
