Water pump issue

I have a 2005 Suncruizer. It was winterized when I purchased it two weeks ago. Was told to flush system by hooking to city water. Did that until all faucets ran clear. Then filled clear water tank. Turned on water pump to pressurize and it doesn’t seem to do it.

What is it doing? Does the pump run? Do you hear any noises (water or air going through pump etc)? Does the pump run and then stop, or just run continuously?

I do feel a vibration when I put the switch on and a humming noise, so I do think it turns on and then I just let it sit in that position for a while but nothing seems to change other than I can get a slow stream but nothing with any pressure.

In my little trailer the pump is pretty loud, leaving no doubt as to whether or not it is running. It sounds like your pump is actually running.

If the pump runs and runs (without any faucets open), the first thing I’d be looking for is leaks. The next would be for air leaks into the piping or bad valve positions on the suction side of the pump. Maybe the folks who winterized it didn’t get the winterization valves aligned properly (or left it in winterization mode).

I figured it out!!! I didn’t turn the tank fill valve back to Cory water after filling. Yes I can definitely hear the motor run when water is running.

Thank you so much for your willingness to help me!
