We have a new Micro Minnie FLX (2024) and we are having issues with the fresh water pump. It worked when we bought it, but today we're preparing to hit the road and now it doesn't work. I filled the water tank and when I turn the pump on it keeps running. When I open the water at the kitchen sink, it sputters and blows mostly air. I opened up the compartment where the pump is and it looks fine. I redirected the water input to the short hose that delivers antifreeze to the system. The pump suck a pitcher of water dry is a few seconds. Pump seems to be fine. Anyone have a suggestion?

After you filled the tank, did you reset the fill switch to "Normal", rather than "Tank Fill"?

We found the problem. The picture below shows our pump under the sink. Notice the kink in the water inlet hose? I cut that out and put a right angle fitting there. It turns out one of the clamps was not tight enough and the ump was sucking in air. I had to use a ratchet to tighten the clamp enough to prevent air from entering the tube. All is well now. Micro Minnie owners might want to check out the pump.

It looks like they used PEX crimp fittings to connect flexible tubing to PEX fittings, which is a known cause of plumbing leaks. In a home, this would be a serious code violation, but in RVs, there are no standards and manufacturers do this because it's cheap and fast.
