Warranty Question? Vinyl Stickers?

Hi All,

I have a 2005 Sightseer 30B. On the lower door and one adjacent panel the vinyl stickers have shrunk and started puckerin/peeling.

Everywhere else is great.

Is this a warranty item, or do I just have to deal with the ugly look.

Thanks!

Bumper-bumper 5 year.

My door decal has done the same. My dealer says it isn't covered by warranty but I don't have the full extended warranty. They gave me a $20.00 price for the decal. That's not too bad as I just ordered decals for my Mercury Outboard engine and they were $160.00.

I take my motor home in on June 13th to have a Winnebago rep look at a water leak and they will install the decal then. I don't know what the installation cost will be.

Vinyl stickers have a life of 5 to 7 years.
Putting new ones on is an easy task, but getting the old ones off can take time. I have had to remove some of mine because of age. My RV is older than your's and I'm surprised you are having a problem already.

Warren;

I'd be really surprised if your extended warranty would cover replacement decals. Even 'bumper-to-bumper' extended warranties tend to be more 'mechanical' in nature.

The decals are readily available from Winnebago though...

Well, it's a mooot point now.

Last night on the way to our Memorial Day vacation spot, the Workhorse parking brake locked on for the 4th time in two years; Workhorse obviously unable to repair it the previous three attempts.

We were stuck in the middle of an intersection for two hours, on hold with Workhorse for 90 minutes, the Highway Patrol finally got tired of waiting for my roadside service and called in their own tow. We had to drop the drive shaft and pay $715 to get it to the shop...

I tire of going from 40+ mph to a dead stop and risking my family's life.

I'm miffed big time... The rig will NOT come home.

Sorry to hear about the bad vaction. This is a LOUSY parking brake that Workhorse uses on the P-32. This is one of the reasons we dumped our '05 Sightseer on the old P-32. Ours did that once, and almost threw us through the windshield....and that was the ONLY time the (lousy/squeeky) brakes stopped us good.

I dont blame you for getting mad....this should not be happening

Sorry to hear your problems.

FYI, we just had our MH in for service, and had several thing replaced under extended warranty (outside radio/cd player, LP detector, bathroom sink and other small stuff). We expected our bumper to bumper extended warranty to cover a vinyl decal that is curling. We were told it isn't covered. AND, you have to order an entire roll which cost approx $300.

We are going to do some checking around. Remember reading about a service that keeps decals in stock and fixes them onsite.
