I have a 2014 Minnie Winnie and I need to buy a new roof vent that goes above the shower. The old one is cracked, and water is leaking into the shower. Any ideas on the best place to get a new one? It looks like I would need to remove the old caulking before installing the new vent so I assume I would need special caulking?

Question, is it the cover for a power vent? If so it may be easier and make more sense to just replace the cover. There are different styles of covers, so if replacing take pictures and measurements while looking for new cover.

Yes to replace caulk. I would use dicor self leveling caulk after installing new.

Careful, replacing silicone caulking with non-silicone Dicor is a bad idea.

It sounds like you’re calling a skylight in the shower a “roof vent.” Can you explain more fully what you mean?

On the roof above where the shower is located there is a black plastic vent cover that is cracked. There is caulking around it to seal it. I don't think there are any screws or bolts that attach the cover. I've attached a picture of the vent.

Sure looks like a Shower Skylight... not a vent cover. The screws are under the existing caulking all around the outside. The skylight has a flange around the bottom that is screwed down and covered in caulking.

Not this one but like this:

You haven't told us the model info for your 2014 Minnie Winnie. But here's one I chose at random from the 3D Parts list. Looks like yours and is a Shower Skylight. The part number is shown. Winnebago charges a lot for those, but you can find others that make them, too. See the part on the roof in Yellow and the highlighted part number in the chart at left.

Here's a link to get to the 3D Parts list for you to choose YOUR model info:

Sometimes one of the bigger problems when we look for info is knowing the correct names of things.
Is this a vent that opens? Or is it a skylight that doesn't open?
We often fail to get the good info on exactly which RV is involved as well and that leaves us guessing what you have as all the online info is filed by year, model and floorplan!

But just looking at the picture, I might think you have a fixed panel which might be called a skylight, rather than a vent that opens?
The difference is that we can often change out the cover on a vent if it is the type which opens and closes with some sort of crank.
But to repair the skylight which is often build as one item of see through with a metal frame to mount to the roof.
What I think I see is the metal frame of a skylight is pretty well hidden in sealer. But that is guessing until we know more about what you have!
Lots of different RV with lots of different things which makes guessing really BAD!
Or it might be this one?

Looking a bit deeper, I think I found the correct RV as the 331 K or 331 KF? Those both have the skylight next to the frig vent, so I think this parts list will be correct! But do check to see it matches as things are always prone to having mistakes when we work from a distance!

What I see in the list makes me think there is a chance you can replace just the cover and not get involved with the inner parts which are sealed to the roof. Good deal if you can go that way.
They list them as separate items, inner and outer and I might assume the inner can be left in place?
What I see in your picture makes me think you have Dicor self leveling , not silicone as sealer and that makes the prep a bit easier as it doesn't need to be cleaned quite as well before going back with new Dicor.
My thinking on that is the way the sealer laid down. Silicone ifs much softer when fresh and tends to leave a different shape while Dicor is a bit stiffer and prone to leaving what looks more like waves on water!
But maybe it is a simple lid change, not a full blown rework?

This post might be worth reading for what they found? The same part number for the cover if you look down to post 3 pretty well down to the bottom that part is listed?

You can get some solvent cement to glue the crack, which is available wherever plastic sheeting is sold!
