Vent Ceiling Fans for 2003 itasca Sunflyer 39T

None of the ceiling fans in the 2003 itasca I purchased work, and I am looking to either repair or replace them, I can find little information on what internals might be compatible to replace without replacing the entire fan housing. The part #'s are:

123780-10-01A
123780-09-01A

Any help would be appreciated

Most Fantastic Fans have a fuse inside.Dometic now owns Fantastic Fan, call Dometic customer service to order parts.
BTW, Fantastic Fan lids have a lifetime warranty, and Dometic still honors that warranty on the lid, the rest has a 7 yr. warranty.

yes I checked all the fuses, they seemed fine, none broken or blown

When one or more fail, I jump to checking that they are getting both power and ground.
There are so many small points that have to work that changing out the fans is less likley that both have failed when there are so many small parts like switches, wires and connections or fuses to fail.
When checking power, keep in mind it can be a good fuse but the wire nut connecting the RV wiring to the fan wires may have fallen off!
Have you verified power and ground to the fan or tested the fans by putting power and ground directly to the motors?
I like to do the easy parts like that before doing the harder parts like finding the right part and that not be the problem!

Have you tested for incoming 12V+ at each fan off/on switch? That is in addition to the wall-mounted switch. Then the ground system is the other half of the circuit.

If you get into digging out the wiring at switches or fans, and get it pulled out to see the connections between the fan wires and the Winnebago wires, there is a great deal of help as they stamp an Id code on the wire ends.



This can then be decoded using this chart for the from and to locations of the next item in line.

Hit "ctrl and F" at the same time and it brings a dropdown where you can input the code to give you a list of where that input is found!

For instance at the fans?
HHB (white wire?) is ground and that leaves the yellow to be power when the correct switches are on and good!

Thanks for the help guys, I cannot get on the roof, and so I did what I could from the inside, One fan had a problem because the gear inside the arm that raises and lowers the vent cover had become disengaged due to a retaining rod came out, it repaired and works.

The second one had a problem with a sticking button at the back of the unit that when the cover is open it opens the solenoid and allows the fan to work, used so wd40 dry spray and it works again, the last one had the plastic that holds the fan become brittle and broke on one side, it was not centered and would not run in that position, when I pushed the fan unit back in place the fan rotated, but the arm was so brittle it broke off entirely.

So 2 of 3 work now, and I am not sure I can replace the internals on the other from the bottom so that might be all that can for now. I appreciate the help everyone.
