Travato 59G Propane Regulator

Hello,
I'm suspecting that my propane regulator is going bad. Can anyone tell me the part number or what regulator I need to buy for a 2019 Travato 59G?

Not sure the reg is all that special other than needing tomatch pressure,so it may be more practical to check local LP places for a replacement?
I have a local LP fill place who alsodo work on all kinds of things that use LP, like forklift, etc and then are super handy to get things like the reg.

All things RV seem to be way behind and backed up.

Thanks for the response. Could the regulator be the reason why the stove will light but the Truma Hotwater system is giving me a E212H code?

Oh DARN! Just found something new that I did not expect!

There appears to be TWO reg on your system? OR am I jumping at wierd things?

You may need to check me an dsee if it makes sense to you, as I am not used to seeing two regs inline, so the way they are listed may be throwing me???

Going to theat draweing and looking at item 10 and clicking it, makes that item show yellow on the drawing, as it shows here.
But if you click item 31, it lights the green item next to it and tells us it is a reg??

Is this two regs inline, which has always been something to avoid in my mind, or am I confused???

Yeah I noticed that myself on the parts breakdown you sent me so I went out and crawled underneath it. 2 regulators inline. A 30psi coming off the tank and then connected into another regulator that is 2 stage. Now to figure out which one is bad.

The weird thing is that I can run my stove but my water heater wont light. I hooked up my barbecue and can only get it up to 200 degrees. So I am getting propane but just not in the volume needed.

That is all new to me as one reg is what I've always thought.
So how do you find your area? Is there a chance of driving it in to some LP place and just telling them the story to see what they think---without fully committing to them changing things?
You might get some good info on what the deal is with two regs??
This might be one of those times when we need the right gauges, etc to get readings from one reg to tell us which or what is up?

OR is it time to think the water heater is the problem?

Sorry, no help on that from me. New to two regs, new to the Truma....

Well, I fixed it. It wasn't the regulator by the tank but the second 2-stage regulator that was connected in line with the first regulator.

In doing my research, Winnebago only had one high-pressure regulator on all Travato's until 2019. This is when they started installing 2 regulators, a high pressure and then a separate 2 stage regulator. I still don't understand why because I noticed that the 1st stage of the 2-stage regulator is also a high-pressure regulator.

Also, I thought regulators just up and failed and didn't just progressively fail over time as this one did. The only reason I suspected the regulator was that the burn on my stove wasn't as pronounced as before. The stove didn't show yellow flames or popping sounds as other websites suggested they would.

Hope this will help other people in the future.

The reasoning is often just an odd thing? Maybe you can install two cheaper than one???
Especially if the second is designed to fail so soon?

Re: propane regulator

The regulator on my propane system also failed
I discovered oil dripping from it? Found out that oil is a natural byproduct of propane but is very harmful to most everything that uses propane. I installed a propane oil filter between the tank and regulator to prevent a reoccurrence of oil contamination which can be a very expensive repair.

hi Greg, I have the same year and model travato...and i am now experiencing the same issue you had i.e. stove flame is there but weak, e212 error on Truma. I am 90% sure it's the gas regulator. Could you please share what replacement regulator you purchased and installed? thanks
