Hi All...

We just finished posting our current entry. "The Amazing Process of Painting a Class A Motor Coach" and waited to share it.

Have you ever wondered what goes into the painting of such a fine Class A motor coach? We did! And we are happy to be able to share it with others with thanks to Winnebago and CDI (the painting company).

In a nut shell, a lot of man hours. A LOT! Below is a link to our just published entry about the process and an photo essay of 80 images. This is the birth of our 2014 TOUR that we do not yet have.

Thanks all for the private comments sent in and your support of this live changing event for us. We are glad you like the blog. And yes, we surely will change the photo at the top as soon as we have a nice image of our new 2014 TOUR.

We had our 2003 Adventurer done by CDI in Forest City last year. I have a much more intricate pattern done on mine, yet this demonstrates how it must have been done. I love my "new" coach, and love it when someone asks if it is new.... The full body paint has made it much easier for me to keep it looking beautiful. CDI was "top shelf" to work with, they made every step from planning to pickup a pleasure.

Great looking painting process. I paint cars & bikes for a hobby. I do wear these. Some of them had masks, they just were not wearing them over their mouth & nose. LOL Also I am not sure what type of paint Winnebago uses, but believe it or not most factory automotive paints are now water based. A whole lot less damaging to the personnel & the environment.
