Please don't take the failures of the Vols football team as spreading to Winny owners (Jones gets all the credit), but after much research and shopping, I've just purchased a 2009 Era XL with low miles.

Though very happy with the purchase, I have several issues I'd like to clear up moving forward. Years ago I owned a Class A Safari, and now have decided to go incognito. Anyway, I made the mistake of calling Winnebago to ask questions, with the result being some type of order, but after being on hold for 90 minutes, I finally received a message that they "would call back at their earliest convenience". Two or 3 days later, I received a call ( which of course I couldn't take at the time), apologizing they were returning the call and that they have been very busy.

Can I expect this being the norm from corporate?

Most likely, as I have not had any luck with them. I got more help at a Camping World parts desk than anyplace else. I went in and waited for the morning rush to clear out and then went over and started taking to a lady, who turned out to be the service manager. She answered every question I had between customers.
BTW, I live in west Tennessee where the good football is being played by the ranked Tigers... (Now I am waiting for either end of the state to bring back basketball success.)
