Sunstar 32YE Step Motor Replacement Substitution?

I read somewhere that the Dorman 742-251 power window motor will work as a kwikee step replacement motor. Can anyone confirm or deny?

I'm 2,000 miles East or I'd say stop by and I'll give you my old one. My pot-metal gear housing broke, motor still good. I replaced everything while under there.

Has your old motor got an ID sticker still attached? if so, look up the number for a cross-over to different motors.

I hate to be the guy to not answer your question, but why when the exact Kwikee repacement motor is only $20?

You can't possibly save any relevant money given the labor to install. I bought a GMX 300-1457 for $18.99 in 2023. It worked so well I bought a 2nd one that I keep as a spare.

Note: Verify your exact model based on model of your steps. Kwikee is one of those companies that actually answers the damn phone
