Stovepipe range hood fan? 2018 Vista 32YE?

Is there a fan above the range of 2018 Vista 32YE?

Hi Sooeey,
Up until this point, I have only heard of select trailers not having range hood exhaust fans. To me, if the Eagle5 didn't have an exhaust fan over the stove that vented directly outside, I would install one before I used the stove.
As to the 2018 Vista, I found a picture in the brochure which is vague (see below.) Could something that thin have an exhaust hood with fan? It might just be a sheet of metal and a lamp; the metal to stop a grease fire from igniting the galley.
In the Owner's Manual, I found this statement on page 4-8:

RANGE HOOD
–If Equipped
The range hood vent draws cooking odors and airborne grease particles into the filtration grid and either recirculates the air or vents it to the outside of the coach, depending on model. A light on the underside of the hood provides illumination for cooking and food preparation.

So I take it that your Vista does not have an obvious vent over the stove, right?

And the brochure doesn’t seem to show an exhaust port on the stove side exterior in the photos. This surprises me, too.

Drilling down to the RV mentioned, there are two builds, early and late but the change doesn't appear to change the venting mentioned.
I see this on both builds.

Frig vent as shown but no stove venting!
I might assume they are using a different type of vent which doesn't exhaust to outside but uses a carbon filter and recirculates the air through it and back inside as many newer houses do.

I would assume the idea is that if we want to remove the heat, we then use the normal ceiling vent fans to exhaust that?

I know it is a different year and model but my 2021 Vista 35U does not have an exhaust fan mounted in the hood over the stove. There is that black metal panel with a light as shown in post #2 above but no fan. It does have a ceiling vent fan located above the stove area. One more area where Winnebago has cut costs I guess.

It may be a combo of several things as one of the points to consider in houses is putting the vent for the stove out the roof also adds a pretty good chimney to suck heated air up and out of the house.
Some thinking may transfer to RV thinking? No idea on how those decisions are made!

We had the vent over the stove here but it was such a heat loss for the small gain that we changed out the hood in a remodel. There was a flap to close it but that was more theory than actual effect on the draft up that little chimney!

Just a white plastic vent near the back but when you open back the range top cover it literally blocks sight of the cover opening.

No, there is not a range hood on the 2018 32YE.

I suppose the thought was to use the ceiling vent fan and open the kitchen window. The fan in the ceiling is one of those tiny ones that does nothing so I replaced it with the MaxFan, MaxAir model 7500K with remote. It works just fine, but I would prefer a hood with exhaust fan over the stove instead. Maybe someday I'll eyeball up what it would take to install one, but not on the priority list right now.

Mine does not have that at all. We just have the black sheet metal under the microwave. Would be interesting to pull out the microwave to see what that is. it's only held in with the four screws on the bezel. Also looks like the opening for the microwave was cut at the bottom to accommodate the larger microwave, maybe..??..

Have you found the purpose of the white vent we see above the micro?
Is it possible there is a filter in the lower vent above the stove and the heat works it's way up, combined with the micro heat and vents out of the white vent above?

I see no mention of that vent on the drawings but there are several options for heat and air and not all those smaller items are shown on all drawings.
