Up until this point, I have only heard of select trailers not having range hood exhaust fans. To me, if the Eagle5 didn't have an exhaust fan over the stove that vented directly outside, I would install one before I used the stove.
As to the 2018 Vista, I found a picture in the
brochure which is vague (see below.) Could something that thin have an exhaust hood with fan? It might just be a sheet of metal and a lamp; the metal to stop a grease fire from igniting the galley.
In the
Owner's Manual, I found this statement on page 4-8:
RANGE HOOD
–If Equipped
The range hood vent draws cooking odors and airborne grease particles into the filtration grid and either recirculates the air or vents it to the outside of the coach, depending on model. A light on the underside of the hood provides illumination for cooking and food preparation.
So I take it that your Vista does not have an obvious vent over the stove, right?
