Stairs won’t retract 2011 Winnebago Adventurer

Good afternoon… the electronic steps on my 2011 ‘Winnebago Adventure’ have stopped retracting when the chassis engine is engaged. I have already replaced the ‘motor’ and ‘gear box’ and ‘control unit’ … everything worked great for a while but now the stairs will not retract when the engine is engaged .. does anyone know if there a modular or fuse that also needs to be replaced?

I first have to say the steps are much more complex than I thought. that leaves me to never want to work on them without a guide and the guide is easy to get!
This link will get one version but for best info it will be good to check what model of steps and then follow the link in this manual to get the correct info. as there are tons of small differences and many models.
