I noticed a small leak in my3 Port Water Valve. After some research I found as the correct 185752-01-000 replacement part although the WBGO Part catalog show a part that was discontinued in 2016 for my 2019 coach. I have 2019 29ve Sunstar

I have found the part for a whopping $238 on ebay. Surely the part does not cost that much?

Anyone ever had to buy this part? Know the HVAC OEM (i.e. Everest /Tempest) that may sell the same Part for a lot cheaper than WBGO number?

Any options to repair the leak?

I see it lots of places for $230+ but Lichtsinn RV has it in stock for $162. Most of us always check Lichtsinn RV first.

Part Number: 18575201000
Part Description: EAVALVE-WATER,3 PORT ELECTRONI
Retail Price: $162.10

What size threads does it have?
Have you got a McMaster-Carr store nearby? They carry nearly everything.
Would this one fit?
Mine does not have threads. It has 3 hoses that are clamped down. Plus there is a special electrical connector as it is electronically controlled.

I am sure there are MCMaster Carr in Dallas area, but I don't have an account with them.

Thanks I love Lichtsinn and their videos, but most everytime I try order parts it some odd story. They are not shy or cheap on the their shipping cost, but the price $162 may the best I choice I have.

I did see this for $79 but I need tp call to verify if tt is really the right part. VALVE WTR 3-PORT PRC VCTRY 46-00406-17901273

I assume it might work because the part number listed may be a cross reference to the WBGO part number?

I found a thread on this forum where a poster had a new 2022 Vista 29ve with same problem. He thinks it is design issue? Heater control valve

Brass threaded hose barbs are sold at most any hardware or auto parts store.

Not sure what you are telling me? My 3 port valve does not have threads. Plus it is Electronic; so it must work with the electrical connection as well.

With that said, it took me a while but I was able to defeat the intent of WBGO proprietary numbers and I traced down the part supplied by a company that has nation wide fleet field services for companies like Amazon. So getting the true OEM, I found part for $79. I am waiting because they did not have stock in their warehouse but it was available in one of their service trucks.

CreativePart was right as Lichtsinn had had the best price I could find otherwise.

So when I get the part and confirm it is right fit, I might try to install myself. Otherwise, I will have the Mobile Tech install when I have him come out to fix my front grill. That epoxy is just not strong enough to support the weight and vibration of the front grill. My JB Weld trick didn't work either on that grill.

It's after the fact now, but the link in reply #2 is a 12V motorized 3-way valve. The brass hose barbs screw into that valve converting it from threaded to slip-on hose barbs.
It's not the original valve, but should work.

Ok, I had dismissed primarily because mine has 3 electrical wires and that one only two? Plus mine in not threaded the hoses clamp down.

Ironically, I am expecting the part I ordered today, it shows out for delivery. Soon I will know if I got the exact OEM part or not. If so, I only paid for $100 inclusive of tax and shipping. I have not decided if I wil do myself or not. My plan is to very exact fit and if so see if I can remove the defective part. If I can, I should be able to put the new one on and pug it in. If not I will call mobile tech to come out to fix and front grill and put this part on.

If it goes really well, I may even consider buying another one for backup but they may be overkill. The OEM made it six years, but it is no telling how long that little leak has been there? I am glad i noticed before it was an issue while traveling.

Thanks and I will let you know how it goes, especially if my part ordered it not the original which I am told it is the true OEM Mfg at 1/3 the costs :)

Not any real help on the issue but reading through I might throw in a different idea on the parts listing?
I see the info as saying they STARTED using that part number in 2016 and then run through forever, or until changed?
A quick look shows that part used on the same model RV's clear up to present. Does that open it up to possible salvage yard search ?

I actually just received the part about an hour ago. It is actually the OEM Mfg. In this case I was able to crack the WBGO part number code game they love to play. Soon I will disassemble the existing one. If I can get it off with no issues I will add the new. So far I have saved about $140 on just the parts.

I will know shortly if I need my Mobile Tech to come out and put it on.

This issue is resolved for $100

I was able to easily remove and replace the part in 15 minutes. I let run for about 20 minutes looking for leaks. I could not see a physical crack on the old part, so it must have been one of the seals where the valves mate up with on of the port openings.

I can now focus on letting the Mobile Tech come out to fix the front grill. I will let him decide how to fix.

Sounds like good shopping paid off very well!
Progress often comes in spurts!
I've not had any radiator involved troubles in a long time but it has been a thought that many of the parts have to actually be common truck parts if we can sort out what to look for.
I wonder if we may miss at times like this when we don't go into it looking at things as truck parts?
But that always seems to lead back to how difficult it is to get good info on our chassis items.
They kind of have us hung up in a big circle of who gets to rip us off the most!

I just got my notice of need to pay the same price for car inspection, etc. even though they no longer do the same level of inspection!
That pretty much sounds like a tax that we now still pay but get less in return!

I had to do a lot of reverse Engineering. If I were force to name a complaint with WBGO it would be parts and how they go to great lengths to help the dealers sales parts and a price that often fleeces the customers. I remember when I need some trim molding that was under warranty but Lichctsinn said I needed to pay for shipping, it was something like $300 :kev: It was due to the fact that it was 8 feet long some irregular shape and handling. I cried foul and WBGO ultimately had it shipped to a local dealer and I didn't have to pay anything.

A lot times the Dealers will quote a price and a lot of people just pay whatever shipping it is no question asked. In this case, I got lucky to find the true original mfg part number and started shopping for it. The Mfg confirmed it was a standard part used carried on the Service Trucks to service Amazon fleets and other nationwide trucking fleets. My guess is it would have cost me $220 - $240 out the door from a WBGO dealer. $500 and 6 weeks without the RV to have it installed by Dealer. I will use that savings to pay to get the front grill hopefully fixed by my Mobile Tech. I am sure right after I have it fixed, WBGO will send out a recall notice with no date or plans for a fix.

Have you noticed that telling the truth is not how folks get hired for those jobs?
I have almost gone completely away from trusting!
If we think about it, the RV chassis is bought from somebody who builds lots of chassis for all kinds of uses beside RV.
So if we can find the part that is used on a tow truck, etc., it is likely to be much cheaper than something very specific like an RV!
The old boy using it on his farm truck will not pay the price that us rich folks who drive RV will pay!
The economics we learned in school was never a true story!
