I found a couple points that might help to check?
Does the jack system also show the park brake not set or does it seem okay? I would assume both use the same switch at the brake for that info, so if the switch at the brake is loose/bad, etc. than I would guess both to be a problem?
Those I have looked at were just simple switches hung on the side of the pedal for the brakes and they could come loose and fail to open/close as needed. Often tied in to the wiring for a dash switch, if that might help to decide if worth fighting under the dash!
If jacks and dash light work as normal (?) I would move to the wiring at the slide controller.
Possible open wire or bad connection at the controller plug?

Not spotting the location of this module. I have seen them placed in hard to find spots to keep them out of the way. Sometimes mounted to the bottom of the slide, other times on the inside of the outer wall of a nearby compartment. Sort of thing where we have to nearly crawl in the compartment to look back toward the outside?
As a thought to consider? If you are stuck and really need to move the slide, there may be a way to "fool" the system that thinks the brake is not right?
If not able to fix the real problem, perhaps a workaround to try?
If you take the brake sensor plug out of the connection, does it then work? Or does it require putting a strap across those two connections to make it think the brake is set?
Keep in mind this is a safety item and you will want to avoid driving or doing things if the brake is not actually set right!!!
Best of luck and hope that helps a bit!
