If it is LIppert, or Schwintek, you have a controller module somewhere near the bedroom slide. When you look at it you may see a green or red light blinking. Press the tiny reset button 6 times and hold it in until the red light starts blinking rapidly.
This puts the slide into "override" which means all safety functions are disabled.
Once the light is flashing use the Extend button to move the slide out all the way, and as indicated keep the extend button pushed for a minimum of 5 seconds. Longer is okay. If the motor is good on the side that is wedged the slide should extend. If the motor is "toast" you have a bigger problem of having to manually extend/retract. As stated, the manual should tell you how to perform that procedure.
If it does extend with the override, try bringing it back in. Watch very carefully that the slide does not want to come in on one side more than the other. If there is a 2 inch difference STOP and start over again by extending and then retracting. If this does not correct the problem, well then it is a bigger problem.
Once the slide comes in or goes out, always, always hold the button in for a minimum of 5 seconds. You may hear one motor whir a few seconds longer. The 5 second hold is to allow the motors to sync.
Remember that using the override disables all safety features for automatic stopping etc. and those motors are strong and can break something. If the slides come in with the override, push the little button again on the override. a green light should be seen.
The manual also has all of the blinking light designations like 1 light blink or 2, 3 4 5, etc. and what each sequence stands for.
