I have a 2020 micro Minnie 2108DS and slide out will not extend on battery power or on shore power plug in. No sound at all from motor. Everything else works fine in trailer. Is there a way to manual crank out slider? Also any quick tips on what may be causing this or where to look to figure out problem? Thanks everybody.

Without knowing what slide mechanism we are talking about, no. Unless someone just happens to have your camper and has had a problem.

My 2024 MM2108FBS you had to use the manual override on the control board under the couch/dinette, no mechanical method.
I gave up on the schwintek within a month of ownership and upgraded to the Vroom system. Way better system and peace of mind!

If you find the controller he is talking about it has a way to override the control. Also, it should have flashing lights in a small rectangle window. IT will flash 1 green and then X number of red leds. Count the red and look on the cover for the error description. This may help sort it out.

If you were close to me I could get it to move with my "device". And maybe narrow it down to the problem.

I have been a mobile rv tech and have the coddiwomple made by Chandler Cooper at the NRVTA. Very costly but handy. It really is just a box that you attach a cordless tool battery to and has attachment points for cables and adapters to power the motors from the controller or at the motor. If you can get to the motor.

I just went through this with our 2022 2108FBS FLX and found that the controller for the slide was only getting a few volts. I traced back through the electrical system and found that there was a loose nut on one of the circuit breakers on the A-frame of the trailer. Winnebago picked a horrible place to mount the circuit breakers, completely exposed to the elements and no effort to waterproof or even use waterproof connectors.

The poor design and placement of these connections was a frequent complaint here for a while but seems to have faded away.
If I were now looking at trailers, this would be one of the first things I would check and if I found these under the frame, I would keep walking as it is an obvious choice to keep putting out a bad product!
If I understand the situation correctly, Winnebago bought a smaller company and doesn't really try to correct many of the things that comany was doing wrong! Just scarf up any profits and forget the reputation.
If you are the current owner of a trailer with connections like shown in the picture, you seem have few choices. Correct it now, wait until it fails or sell!
This is not one that is going to get better if it is left in the way it was built! There is simply no way we can expect hot battery connections that are placed outside and in the spray from the road to not become a problem and when they are placed less than a half inch from the frame used as ground, it is going to fail!
If you are not interested in a lifetime of fighting nature, I suggest fixing this sooner rather than later!

At one point, I would have been inclined to say it was becasue Winnebago bought an inferior company and needed time to correct the defects.
But after years, that can no longer be a good excuse! The new generation of management at Winnebago should be ashamed!

Thanks MO and BO that was exactly what was wrong. Another thing they do that is F$%^ed up is they do not emboss the VIN number anywhere on the trailer, it is just put on stickers on side of trailer and inside trailers. This can be removed, transferred, forged. In California DMV says it should be embossed on trailer or attached with non-removable attachments. When I asked Winnebago about this they said DMV was wrong and blew me off. So what happens if camper burns up and all you have left is trailer how do you prove to police, insurance that this was yours or what was actually there, food for thought. Watch Liz Amazing on youtube very informative.
