Hi all- I've been searching online for a new RV travel log to kick off the season. Most I find don't show what the actual pages look like. I prefer a logbook that doesn't have half the pages blank with only ruled lines. I just want to log campsite/campground data and not do allot journal writing. And some RV specific information like maintenance and repair would be nice. Any recommendations please? Thanks!

Hello. This is what I have been using for the last few years. I am from Canada, so I use Amazon.ca I checked, the description will bring it up on Amazon.com

RV Log Book Camping Journal: Road Trip Planner, Caravan Travel Journal For RV And Motor Home, Summer Camping Memory Keepsake Book, Glamping Diary Notebook Checklist, Travel

It works great for us.

maybe a maintainance record from Staples. it may be a driver log or something. some of the trip planning websites do that also. I think RV pro (this website is hosted on) has trip planning and logs for that. Home it has a trial period and is a pay site but maybe that s an option. good luck and safe travels. for some reason i cant save the website. click on the word home and it will com up. Home

I created my own on my iPhone. Includes a map of the camping sites and a rating of each that includes hookups, ease of parking, views and if site is shaded in the afternoon. Also phone numbers of park managers or ranger.

I was just looking at a log I saw in Camping World. I took a picture of one of the pages thinking I may create my own. See attached file

We have done a couple of different things over the years. My wife used to use a half-size 3-ring binder and would use a ruled page to write the daily logs on. Then we would print pertinent pictures to add to the binder. I have always maintained a vehicle log that contains fuel ups, repairs, mileage, and service. They vary a bit, but most are bound, and I just add to them as I go. We haven't traveled enough with our current RV to settle on a specific format. I like that one from CW. I may try and duplicate it in a spreadsheet format for easy editing.

As far as pictures, I have my phone programmed to automatically save pictures to Google Photos, so they can be put in an album or searched as necessary.

I just built one using Google Sheets.
I have one that I use for trip planning,
another one to track fuel and repairs,
then a 3rd one for trip expenses (sightseeing, eating out, etc.)

Use the features of Open Office_ Spread Sheet, to design one to fit your needs. The grid lines may be removed if you wish, I didn't, I just modified the cell structure.
Sadly I lost that in a computer crash a few years ago, and haven't recreated it yet. When DW became ill several years ago I stopped using it entirely, I didn't begin using it again for lack of time.
