We have a 2023 Spirit 22M.
Problem is sewer hose holding in rear bumper, will not fit Rhino with pre attached ends due to bolt head holding bumper, stopping from passing all the way through. Any ideas?

Hi Twells,
I use a Rubbermaid Tub with lid to store my sewer hose stuff:

You can also replace your stock bumper with one of these bumpers:

The advantage of using a big tub with a lid is that it is faster than the bumper storage method.
The advantage of using a new bumper is that you save space in your cargo bay.
Thanks, Eagle5

We bought an extendable sewer hose holder that we bought on Amazon. We zip-tied it to the top of rear bumper. There is a way to mount it under the motorhome but with the black and grey tank valve location I didn’t see a way to mount it. The Rhino hoses fit perfectly inside of it.

I had the same problem. I bought a 4x4 VINYL POST SLEEVE. A 8' piece is available at any home center for about $30. Fastened that to the top of the bumper. There are also caps available. Works great. You can buy special round tubes for RV's but they are much more expensive.

Bumper

We have a 2022 Winnie Minnie 26t. Had the same problem with the aluminum bumper. We bought a True 4x4" id steel bumper, had the same original brackets Welded on the new steel bumper. Had it POWDER COATED and painted it to match our Grey Mist Minnie Winnie. It works perfectly for the 20 foot Rhino with the ends. Yes it's heavier than the other one but we also mounted our Spare tire on the bumper. We didn't have a Spare tire carrier underneath the RV.
I hope this helps you.

Wow that’s an awesome idea!!! How did you mount it to the top of the bumper? Did you use long hose clamps?

2019 25B has the same issue. We took the dump station end off the hose in the drivers side of the bumper. The hose easily slides in & out of the bumper for use at dump stations but be smart when sticking the end of the hose in the hole. In the passenger side of the bumper I have my "campground hose" which has a removable end (yes it is a pia) on it to let it go in the bumper. Might try the Prest-O-Fit hose next time I need a new hose.

We had the same problem with our 2021 Vita. The bumper was big enough but the pipe hangs on the bolt heads inside. I filed a bit of the bolt heads off and filed a flatter place on the hose couplers. It goes in with a bit of wiggling. Hard to imagine how they shipped these units with some important things dysfunctional.
