A member rebuilding the cabover bunk in a 1994 Micro Warrior is seeking detailed photos or an old parts-book illustration of a molded, possibly plastic, U-shaped piece remembered from an early-1980s Toyota Dolphin. They believe it filled the gap between the cab roof and bunk, possibly serving as both a seal and support, and want to make something similar before installing the bunk’s bottom wood.

Members pointed to a 1993 Micro Minnie Warrior brochure and parts catalog, but the member...

I seem to have seen that on an 82 Toyota dolphin that they seem to have what look like a molded plastic piece that took up the gap between the top of the cabin of the bunk
It looked almost like it was wider at the top than it wasn't the bottom almost like it was one of those white Volkswagen luggage racks for the top

It seemed to be just like a big plastic? You shaped piece that I guess sealed those two matchings as well as supported the wood above it??

Well we have a 94 micro warrior and it doesn't have one

When I redo the bunk area I'm going to make a support such as that before laying the bottom wood

So if anybody has like an '80s dolphin or whatever can someone take me a picture detailed if possible

Out of all the pictures I've seen it's very hard to find a close picture and I can't find any diagram or schematic or anything that describes the piece I believe is there

This is the piece I'm talking about from like an '80s Toyota Dolphin

One of my friends had one and I saw a piece there that looked like a molded piece of plastic that acted as a seal as well as maybe a support???

Running into a bit of problem on locating the parts catalog for that year and micro minni warrior? I find it in 93 but not listed in 94? Any chance there is confusion as the year of the chassis is often different thn the build date of the RV!
Part ot that can come in when we title the veheicle, it uses the chassis build date and that can be a year earlier than the date the RV gets built on top.
There should be a label to get the detailed correct info on what we have. Often found near the driver's left side, maybe do a check for that when needing parts as it is bad news to get the chassis part for the wrong year and try to fit something like an oil filter for the wrong year!
Parts for 93 here:
Down about 12 pages seesm to show what you ask about?
To get an owners manual to explaiin how to read the lable:

This may sound like a downer but if we look at what you are telling us, it seems like a long shot to me!
You want to find a part that you don't know what the real name is, nor what it was used on, possibly a 30-40 year old RV, made by a different company but you give us little idea of which company! Then you can't actually tell us what RV you have as it is not listed in the normal places we look for parts for Winnebago RVs.
Overall, I see no logical way to start on that search!

I have a '91 Winnebago micro mini warrior and the seal looks like it's rubber and flexible. Have never had a leakage problem.

The problem with this is that we still have no good idea of what RV the OP has to work on. The idea that a part from the 80's and a different brand is likely to fit seems to be going the hard way to get a part. Thinking of finding a body part from the 80's to fit an RV 10-15 years newer seems to be going about it the hard way if there happened to be the correct part found?

If the name doesn't show up in the semi-official Winnebago info, I tend to think there is confusion involved!
